Your vision may include use of our award-winning DJ and MC experience for your wedding or corporate celebration, cutting edge lighting design that enhances or transforms a space, a world-wide known band or act, staging, aerial fireworks and more. Together, we create a solution that will have your guests saying OMG and WOW! And it’s all done with a super easy to use and customer service driven approach that delivers remarkable results.

Q: What’s your favorite part of working with brides & grooms?

We love their story. We love getting to know each of our couples on an individual level, building a relationship with them and working with them to give them an experience ALL of their guests will love. Our clients are family to us and we take ownership of making their day stress-free and over the top fun.

Tell us about your most memorable moment at a Citizen Wedding.

OMG. There are SO many! When we partner with the exceptional team at the Citizen Hotel, weddings and events are always a 20 out of 10. Though each event is different, there is a constant that we absolutely LOVE: The Citizen’s passion for delivering amazing customer service and a super friendly and fun personality. We feel like family when we are there and look forward to each opportunity we have to be a part of a celebration with the Citizen. Clients will love their wedding or celebration experience. Their guests will be thrilled with the warm hospitality, downtown vibe and the view from the 7^th floor terrace that overlooks the capital. And the food… forget about it! Unbelievable!

Q: In a city with so many talented wedding vendors, what makes you and your brand unique?

Our “product” is personality. We have an amazing cast of world-class DJ’s, Master of Ceremony, lighting and production designers. Though we have 17+ years of experience and have been featured on TV Shows and Print Media, our biggest compliments come from the clients and talented vendors we partner with. Nothing makes us happier than creating “Raving Fans”.

Q: Anything else we should know about you?

If you are looking for the “hip-fun-not-cheesy-personable-creative-outside-the-box-passion-for-raving-fans” experience, we are ready to work partner with you on your event. A bride recently summed up her experience this way “when we first met, we knew right away we wanted to book Extreme Productions. You made the entire experience easy to plan, completely creative and over the top fun. Half way through dancing, my best friend leaned over to me and said ‘this is the best wedding ever.’ In that same moment, I looked across the packed dance floor to see my oldest guest dancing and smiling with the same energy as my youngest. You did it. You made a wedding we all will never forget. You have a raving fan in all of us”

Congratulations to Susan and Lee, married January 28, 2012 at The Citizen Hotel! We love a short wedding dress and Susan definitely rocked hers. These lovebirds were married in our Plaza Park Ballroom before dancing the night away on our Metropolitan Terrace.

Congratulations to Jillian & Dustin, married November 4, 2011 at The Citizen Hotel! Where to even start? We love everything! This stunning wedding was recently featured in Style Me Pretty; here’s a recap of their big day….

From Kate of Kate Miller Events™… Jillian and Dustin have a fantastic sense of style, and it certainly shone through on their wedding day! Jillian’s stunning Jenny Packham dress with a lace-up back and incredible headpiece was the perfect complement to Dustin’s black velvet tuxedo and matching Tom Ford black velvet bow tie. Using Jillian’s platinum and sapphire engagement ring as a starter, we designed an event with lots of sapphire blue stripes, silver, pearl, lemon yellow and aqua details. The bridesmaids wore elegant, long, blue gowns and carried beautiful bouquets of ivory blossoms sprinkled with touches of yellow blooms, velvety gray dusty miller and large pearls. Jillian’s bouquet included many of the same flowers in ivory tones but sparkled with brooches and pearl strands. The boys all wore black suits with sola flower boutonnieres and charms that signified each unique personality.

The ceremony was beautifully candlelit, with a mirrored backdrop flanked by tealights overhead and a table and aisle swagged with pearl strands. The wedding party walked down the aisle to an acoustic guitar showcasing Bright Eyes and Beatles tunes. The cocktail hour brought guests up to the draped terrace, where they enjoyed comfort food-style hors d’oeuvres and a blue raspberry signature martini. The room was swathed in ambient uplighting, and tables were draped in crushed blue velvet and textural blue rosette linens. Centerpieces sat tall atop carved silver stands and the lush blooms were draped in pearl strands, while mercury glass vessels with shimmering candles flanked the bases. A lounge area of vintage silver velvet sofas and silver leather ottomans bordered the dance floor. At the reception, guests were served wine and tasted cake from the groom’s family winery and bakery. Once the dance party began, the uplighting changed to aqua to bring a new ambiance to the room.

Congratulations to Marcus & Crissie, married 11/11/11! What a lucky date to tie the knot! We love Crissie’s stunning lace dress, and all of the personal touches at their chic reception on our Metropolitan Terrace. With family members making desserts and the bride and friends making centerpieces, this wedding was certainly put together with lots of love. We’re also digging the music—there’s something about a live band that guarantees a good time on the dance floor!
